The Finnish Church Home needs more repairs.

The Finnish Church Home is in need of new repairs both inside and outside. The inside walls and the ceiling need renovations. We have already replaced rusted pipes and part of the holes in the wall have been made to do this work. Now the first floor needs to be made functional again. The cost of these repairs is so high that the church members alone cannot finance it.

The Finnish Church Home has been the property of St Michael's Congregation since 1960, and the Church has been serving the Finnish people of the Montreal area since 1927. As Church membership is constantly declining, we need everyone’s help.

At the same time the Church Home has been a meeting place for various Finnish groups such as Montrealin Aseveljet/War Veterans, Montrealin Suomi Seura, Canadian Friends of Finland, Suomikoulu/Finnish Language School for Children and Adults.  The Finnish Church Home with the resources it offers, including its Library, also serves as a community and cultural centre for all Finns.

PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY to allow us maintain the Church Home.
